Teresa McGrath earned her M.S. degree in Psychology from Our Lady of the Lakes University in Houston and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She is currently serving families in The Woodlands, in private practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licences Professional Counselor for over 10 years.
She is the Clinical Director of INFOCUS, a non-profit organization dedicated to the education and support of new parents and the professionals that work with them.
She is a certified provider of Dr. John Gottman's "Bringing Baby Home" a research-based program designed to help new parents learn the relationship skills necessary to maintain connected relationships after the arrival of a new baby.
Ms. McGrath received her B.S. in Nursing from West Texas State University. She was a neonatal nurse, taking care of the needs of premature and critically ill infants & their families for 30 years. and was board certified by the N.C.C. in high-risk infant care and specializes in working with new parents, especially those with babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
